Tuscany

The Amalfi Coast

Amalfi. When you come to Amalfi, the panorama is wonderful. Sorrento 

This gorgeous town facing the Bay of Naples is one of the most requested locations for destination weddings in Southern Italy, thanks to its impressive tuff cliffs and sunny seascapes. 

According to a legend, Sorrento is the place where Ulysses was tempted by the song of the Sirens – and maybe their enchanted call has never lost its attractive power. But its history is even older than that: when the beauty of Capri or Positano was still unknown, Sorrento had already been discovered by Phoenicians. They were followed by Greeks, Romans, Normans and many famous visitors such as Lord Byron, Keats, Goethe and Walter Scott. When Sorrento was annexed to the new Kingdom of Italy in 1861, it increased its status of one of the most renowned tourist resorts in Italy, and it’s easy to understand why: Sorrento has all the most appealing aspects of Italy: stunning natural beauty, history, excellent food, shopping and lots of friendliness.  

Lake Como 

The third largest Italian lake. It is famous all over the world for its wonderful and romantic landscapes, the perfect destination for a luxury wedding in Italy. On its shores you can find many picturesque villages, like Bellagio, Menaggio, Lenno, Tremezzo and Varenna, with their beautiful villas and gorgeous gardens. Many movies directors chose it as set of their masterpieces for its uncommon beauty! Lake Como is one of the favourite destinations for foreign couples who want to marry in a magical Italian location. Thanks to its geographical setting and its mild climate, weddings can be planned from March up to October-November.  

Lake Garda 

For sure one of the most known lakes of Italian Lakes District. It is located between Veneto and Lombardy regions and it is the biggest Italian Lake. It has a great wonderful appeal and it could be surely a wonderful wedding destination. Renaissance villas, quaint villages with their lovely narrow roads and little shops, nice restaurants and wine cellars could be the perfect reception venues for an unforgettable wedding. Here you could enjoy wonderful nature: cypresses, lemon trees and olive groves, bougainvillea, gardens, parks, impressive view over the sky and the waters. And what about its mild climate and enchanting colours?  

Lake Maggiore is the second largest Italian Lake, descending from the Ticino, in Switzerland, its shores covers two regions: Piedmont and Lombardy. Lake Maggiore has been a favourite destination with the British who have been enticed by its Mediterranean atmosphere and legendary beauty. In the coastal areas the climate is temperate, and the winters are always mild. 

Lake Orta 

Lake Orta is certainly the most romantic location in the Lake District. Hills and mountains are very close to the Lake thus lending a fairy-tale atmosphere to the villages surrounding the water. Orta San Giulio is at the end of a small peninsula that juts out into Lake Orta.  This charming lake, surrounded by gentle hills, is the most enchanting and romantic of the Italian Lakes. Its romance has inspired artists, poets and writers from all over the world for century and for lovers it is hopelessly romantic, will have the same atmosphere as in the ancient times and you will live and relive it as in a fairytale. 

Lake Bracciano

Beauty of nature, landscapes, the historical, cultural heritage with its archeological and artistic richness: these are the ingredients which make Lake Bracciano a wonderful wedding destination appreciated by couples all over of the world. Three towns are just on its shores: Bracciano, Trevignano Romano and Anguillara Sabazia. Lake Bracciano is one of the biggest Lake of Southern region in region Lazio, where wonderful Rome is, and it is one of the major lakes of Italy.

Capri  

Choose a destination wedding in Capri. It has been said that “there are more myth and history in a small wave of the Mediterranean than in the waters of all the other oceans”. Sicily

Venice
